Kasey Nakajima, OD Optometrist

Dr. Kasey Nakajima is a third-generation optometrist who was born and raised in Monterey, California. She is a graduate of University of California Davis and received her doctorate of optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. 

Dr. Nakajima is passionate about providing primary care optometry to both the geriatric and pediatric populations. She is trained to perform services in both English and Spanish, a skill that she feels greatly enhances the quality of her care. In addition to providing primary care optometry, Dr. Nakajima also provides binocular vision and contact lens services.

Despite working full-time, Dr. Nakajima strives to stay active in her community. Recently, she completed state and CDC requirements to be able to administer COVID-19 vaccines in Monterey County. Dr. Nakajima also serves as president-elect for the Monterey Bay Optometric Society. It gives Dr. Nakajima great pride to be able to give back to her community and to lead her fellow optometrists by example.
