Anna J. Shi, MD CATARACT, GLAUCOMA AND OCULOPLASTICS SURGEON

Dr. Anna Shi, a native of Northern California, has quite an impressive medical background. In addition to being a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Shi also maintains a subspecialty in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery. Dr. Shi received her undergraduate and medical degree from the University of California at Davis and completed her Glaucoma Fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Shi holds memberships in the American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and American Academy of Ophthalmology.
 
 Dr. Shi's goal is to provide exceptional comprehensive eye care for her patients while focusing on improving their quality of life. Her expertise is in minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries and complex cataracts.
 
Returning to California, Dr. Shi is excited about the abundance the Monterey Peninsula offers. An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoys exploring/hiking with her dog, running, Farmer’s Markets, as well as great food and wine. Ever the adventurer, she even set crab traps further north and enjoyed the fruits of her labor. Dr. Shi is fluent in Mandarin.
